I still look so awkward, any tips on posing? Ha!

I am completely in love with my new skirt. I am tempted to buy it in cream too. Its such a lovely length and totally suitable for when I get a "proper" job. Thats the excuse im telling my mum when i'm buying all these new clothes! I love the floral belt that came with it. I am a little matchy matchy today but I like it. I am a massive fan of all things nautical. Its a shame that you can't see the peter pan collar under my hair. I don't know if anyone will notice but I have had a thicker blunt fringe cut it. It kept parting in the middle so I thought a thicker fringe would weigh it down. I am so pleased with it, I think it looks so much better. Just looks a bit strange with my hair tied up.

I am off out for dinner tonight at the Toby Carvery with my best friend and a couple of other school friends who I don't get to see that often. I am looking forward to having a huge catch up. One of them got married so we are going to be fawning over her wedding album. Her wedding dress was amazing! This will be the third time out in a week, it feels like Christmas! I don't usually have that much of a social life especially with girls haha!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend. Anyone doing anything exciting?

My posing looks awkward today! Its a shame you can't see the cameo ring due to the flash. The pictures were too dark when I took the flash off.

I had no clue what to wear today. It was one those days when I hated everything in my wardrobe. So I decided to have a rummage in my summer drawer to see if I could "winter up" some dresses. I found this little beauty. Its one of my favourite summer dresses, I brought it last summer when Topshop was not a faraway distant shop as it seems to be at the minute. It seems a bit of a shame to cover it up as it has an open back with a bow. But I think it looks just fine with a cardigan thrown over the top. I thought I'd paint my nails in a bright summer colour to match the dress and hopefully stop it from looking a bit dull. My lovely earrings were a birthday present off one of my friends. They are gorgeous and so "me"! The bag is not my usual style, it's years old and has just been collecting dust. But I think it helps to add a much needed pop of colour.

Im off to go see Black Swan finally with my friend which i'm looking forward too. I haven't seen her since we went to Flashdance in the West End so there will be lots to catch up on. It will be nice to be able to talk "girl talk" as all I seem to be surrounded by these days are the topics of football, sex, football, sex, football. Ah the joys of having a conversation with a group of boys! I am planning of stuffing my face with popcorn and M&Ms with a huge diet coke. Ahhhh heaven!

I also made a start on some coursework today, not a lot but still I managed to write 200 words and print off some research. Somehow the aspect of comparing the UK media to the US is not filling me with motivation! Ahh well needs to be done. I just need to get a pretty folder to start storing it in. I can feel a trip coming on to WH Smiths haha!

A heartfelt hello to all my new followers :) It means a lot that you like read my blog and I shall be, as soon as funds allow, be organising a little giveaway to say thank you!

Soap and Glory: The Righteous Butter

Soap and Glory: The Righteous Butter
I got this in a set for Christmas. Again as with most Soap and Glory products I had been dying to try it out but did not have the funds to buy it. Seems to be the story of my life lately!I am a die hard fan of Palmers coco butter and have been since I discovered it at the age of 14. I suffer from extremely dry skin and I found that it was the only thing that worked for me. I swear by it and am constantly recommending it to everyone. Not much has ever lived up to it! I have no time for thin sloppy body lotions. It has to be thick and smell lovely haha! Sorry for the blurry picture below, I didn't realise it at the time and have used it all up so cannot take another picture! When I opened the pot I was how gorgeous it smelt which to be honest is fairly common with Soap and Glory products. It was lovely and thick. It made me skin feel so soft all day. I put it on after a shower in the morning and my legs still felt lovely by the time I went to bed. This is a huge plus in my books! The only thing I didn't like is the fact it didn't spread very far. You only really need a few dollops of Palmers to moisturise a whole leg but with this you needed quite a few more. Hence I'd used all the pot in three days.

I don't think I will be buying it again, not because I don't like it, but simply just because it does not last very long. My funds will not allow for me to buy it frequently. Having said that once I get a full time job I can see a few purchases coming along!
