Wild horses

Outfit:
Horse shoe print nude blouse: Primark
Black camisole worn under blouse: Primark
Black pleated skirt: Primark
Black leather satchal: Charity Shop
Leopard print collar coat: Topshop
Black faux suede wedges: New Look
Brooch: Primark
Ring: Mothers
Nail Varnish: Savile Row Nails Inc
Red watch: Toywatch
A bit of a Primark themed outfit today, never realised until I listed everything!

The reason why the details shots are outside is because I took, or rather my mum did, outside for a change of scenery. But they came out far too dark so I just kept the detail ones. Have to put up with my door again, sorry!

The ring was the first thing my dad ever brought my mum for christmas as a sort of engagement ring so it has a lot of sentimental value. She gave it to me as she prefers silver jewellery to me. I love it, i'm not really keen on diamond rings and would much prefer a ring like this for my own engagement ring if anyone ever decided to propse to me haha! I got the brooch for christmas and had been wondering what to do it, I think it compliments the coat quite well! Ive thrown my trusty black wedges on, I seem to wear them with everything recently. So easy to walk in!

Im off out to an Indian tonight for my boyfriends sister 19th birthday. The scary thing is that ive known her since she was 15 so im feeling old at the minute haha! Im not sure whether to have my usual curry or to be adventurous and try something new.

Hello Mulberry

I was an extremely lucky girl on Sunday and became the owner of something Mulberry thanks to my generous and handsome boyfriend.

I have been lusting over Mulberry for as long as I remember and its my dream to own a black patent Mulberry Bayswater. Many people find the design boring and as there are so many lookalikes over the high street, pointless to spend all that money on one. But to me it is the epitome of a girl who works in the city. I have done numerous work experience placements all over London and its my dream to work in the big city as a journalist. I want to be one of those girls I see communting on the tube with her trainers on and with her heels stashed in her Bayswater ready to be put on as soon as she is in front of the office. I want to power dress everyday for work and visit Selfridges in my lunch hour to lust over the shoe galleries.
I actually squealed like a pig when I opened the gift box and spyed the Mulberry tree staring at me. I was almost too afraid to open it! It was wrapped so beautifully, it seemed a shame to ruin it.

Its actually an IPhone case but it has a few compartments in it that I can stash some money and cards in. So Im going to use it everyday as a phone case but use it as a purse for when I go out in the evenings and dont need to carry a bulky purse with me.
My boyfriend remembered that I wanted a patent Bayswater so he got me it to match it. As he is currently training to become a surveyor, I always joke that he can get me a Mulberry bag when he finally qualifies to help celebrate

I keep getting it out of my bag and staring at it, unable to believe that its mine! It is so beautiful and now my most prized pocession. He even paid for a little note to be put in it, isn't he a romantic?

I really don't know how he is going to top this next year!

Afternoon Tea at the Ritz

I spent the afternoon yesterday at the Ritz! God I feel rather posh saying that! It was such a lovely day spent with two of my favourite people, my mum and nan. As many of you know it was a birthday treat for both me and my nan off my darling mother. My birthday was on Sunday and my nans was yesterday. We must have laughed from the beginging to the end. It really was one of my best birthday presents.

The scones came out later all nice and warm!

I got told off as soon as I walked into the foyer. I had travelled on the tube in flats because my high heels were suede and I didnt want the rain to ruin them. So I bent down to swap my shoes over and as quick as lightning a man came over and told me off and ushered me to the toilet where I could change my shoes. You dont get told off in the Travel lodge for swapping shoes haha! You can obviously take the girl out of Essex but clearly not the Essex out the girl!

We had a sitting at 1.30 and had starved ourselves so we could eat as much as possible obviously! By 1.40 we had polished off nearly all the sandwiches and the cakes! Talk about greedy! We ended up having three lots of sandwiches. What we didnt realise was that you ate the cakes on top last so again the Essex-ness showed through haha!

Quite possibly the best scones I have ever tasted.

The Ritz is such a lavish, ornate and old fashioned venue. There is gold everywhere and it really does feel like you have stepped back in time. It was so nice to have a man playing a grand piano in the background while you ate. I felt like Julia Roberts from Pretty Woman walking in.

The three generations :)

As traditional Essex girls we treked to Marble Arch and spent all out money in Primark! I brought a lovely skirt but now Ive got it home ive realised it was on the wrong hanger! Gutted. I also did a little bit of star spotting and caught a sighting of Frankie from The Saturdays in Selfridges. She was wearing a bit of a boring outfit to be honest, I think as a popstar I expected her to be in hotpants and sequins haha!
